Aires de Niza, Francia

Hace unos meses descubrí a este peculiar trio de Niza, Francia. Ellos son SHUDDERWALL, un trio formado por tres hermanos: Emmanuel (voz y bateria), Florence (bajo y voz) y Cristophe (guitarra, piano y voz) en 2007. Les descubrí por myspace gracias a un mensaje que recibí de ellos y la verdad que nada mas ecucharlos me sorprendieron pero para bien. Ellos definen su estilo como Rock alternativo pero son diferentes a cualquier otro grupo que he escuhado. Su estilo esta marcado por ritmos del rock clásico pero añadiendole sonidos mediterraneos, acústicos y con una fuerte influencia por el metal. En las voces intervienen los 3 miembros lo que le da una gran variedad en cuanto a la voz de las canciones. Abundan los coros donde se agradece el tener a una voz femenina en el grupo.

Pese a su corta trayectoria, lograron atraer la atencion de Scott Mathews (productor de Mick Jagger, Carlos Santana, Keith Richards, Joe Satriani, Neil Young) con el que producieron 11 temas que sacaron en su primer disco. En cuanto al directo, han tocado por Francia, Inglaterra e Italia.

Un grupo que nos trae su música desde Francia y que sin ninguna duda merece ser escuchado!

A phew months ago I discovered this peculiar three piece from Nize, France. They are SHUDDERWALL, a three piece formed by three brothers: Emmanuel (voice and drums), Florence (bass and voice) and Cristophe (guitar, piano and voice) in 2007. I discovered them thanks to a message sent into me by myspace and to say the truth, I jsut had to listen to their music once to fall in love with it. They define their music style as Alternative rock but I think they are different from any other alternative rock band. Their style combines clasic rock rythms with mediterranean sounds, acoustics and a great influence for metal. In the voices, the 3 members have a part. This gives a great variety for the voices in songs. The backing vocals are abundant in which it is to please having a female voice in the band.

With their great music they cought the atention of Scott Mathews ( producer of Mick jagger, Carlos Santana, Keith Richards, Joe Satriani, Neil Young) with whom they produced 11 songs. They've played live in France, England and Italy.

SHUDDERWALL, a band that brings their music from France and that without doubt should be listened to!
